    Hi All,

Netto sell Phillips ones (newer stock is 8 year life, some older ones are 6 years) at our local shop, for 49p for the 11w ones, and 47p for the 14w ones I think it is.

Not sure why the higher powered ones cost less than the others, but I'd go for the 11w (equivalent of 60w) anyway - You'll soon save that 2p in reduced electricity bills!

This seems to be the normal price at Netto the one nearest to us, Penny Lane, Liverpool has stacks of them!

    Cheers

    Steve

    no netto in edinburgh :(

Strange, the powergen ones for people that get benefits can be bought from them too, but the 20W ones are cheaper than the 11W ones..plus, even with the 60% discount, they are very steep!
If you don't receive a qualifying benefit, you could save over 60% on the price of low energy light bulbs.

    "Our current offers are

A pack of two 11W bulbs for £8.50 (equivalent to 60W ordinary bulbs)

A pack of two 20W bulbs for £7.50 (equivalent to 100W ordinary bulbs)"

Thanks for this, mine arrived today. They are the newer. small type and the box contained two 60W equivalents and two 40W equivalents.
