Energy saving light bulbs

Anyone know where to get cheap energy saving lightbulbs? Tesco have them for about £3.50 but I'm sure we can get them cheaper.

Poundland do them for....a pound. A while back I saw them in Morrisons BOGOF at 99p, so that was almost 50p each.

How about a dusk-to-dawn bulb, that has a built-in light sensor? Anyone seen a good price on those?

No, Wilkinsons are high street only AFAIK - most towns seem to have one.

Ikea have them very cheap - can't remember exactly how much, but about £1 each I think!

I think Morrisons still have them for £1 each
  • Home bargains do an 11w=60w for 56p and they are made by Osram!

  • I haven't paid for one in about 3 years. Ask your local council - I've had 4 from mine, my mum has had 2 a year for ages from hers. If not then Ikea is the cheapest and best range of them I've found in the past.

    Hi All,

Netto sell Phillips ones (newer stock is 8 year life, some older ones are 6 years) at our local shop, for 49p for the 11w ones, and 47p for the 14w ones I think it is.

Not sure why the higher powered ones cost less than the others, but I'd go for the 11w (equivalent of 60w) anyway - You'll soon save that 2p in reduced electricity bills!

This seems to be the normal price at Netto the one nearest to us, Penny Lane, Liverpool has stacks of them!

    Cheers
