Any advice greatly appreciated!

Why do you need to sell quickly? You would probably be better off undervaluing your house with an estate agent.
These quick sell people will probably offer you around 60% less than market value.0 -
Cant afford it... need to get rid, only need enough to cover mortgage and dont want to pay estate agent fees..0

Fair enough. I suppose if you feel you don't feel you see any other option, if you can come out without any losses then go for it. It may at least save your credit history.0

So you'd rather have 60% of the market value, rather than 80% of the market value pricing it low with an EA?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
well im not sure, need to investigate further!! Obviously.. will see what prices they come up with, and contact estate agents.0

Don't believe the price they quote you as the final selling price - plenty of prior info in this forum re this but it's general for them to offer less at the last minute.
Personally I'd stick it on somewhere like housenetwork.co.uk at what you're happy to get for it and then look at an agent if it doesn't sell.
Best of luck0 -
The offers I had from these sorts of companies were derisory without them reducing prices closer the time. Better to reduce the price yourself, I reduced mine and came away with £30K over the best offer from these outfits.0

Price to sell with EA or put it in auction.0

Where is the house? If it's genuinely a bargain then someone will buy it quickly if it's marketed correctly.0

I'd avoid-there must be some dodgy catch with them! They were offering us around the same as what investors connected to the estate agent were offering. In the end we went with the investor despite it meaning we had estate agents fees to pay as something just didn't ring true with this type of company!0
