I've already got the transfer form and it says on it "To open an e-ISA you must have a Nationwide card account" Nobody told me that when I collected the form from the bank. Did you also have to do this? Sorry for butting in but it's relevant and may be of use to the OP.0 -
States this clearly on the relevant web page - http://www.nationwide.co.uk/savings/cash_isa/eisa/default.htm?intcmp=Intcmp_0512I've already got the transfer form and it says on it "To open an e-ISA you must have a Nationwide card account" Nobody told me that when I collected the form from the bank.
Available to Nationwide card account customers Excludes Regular Savings. If you don't already have a card account you may also like to apply for a FlexAccount, CashBuilder Card, Smart or InvestDirect0 -

Yes. You would have thought they would have told me that at the branch. They were so busy there they just gave me a form to take away with me. It was quite a journey to get there. It appears I need another form. And when I tried to get a form sent via on-line form request.....the service was down. :-(0 -

I've just posted off the Nationwide ISA forms to transfer from a Santander ISA to Nationwide's e ISA at 3.10%.
I already have a flex account with Nationwide and a good thing about this ISA seems to be that you can add other ISAs to it, which I intend to do as they mature.
It's good to know that everything went through so quickly and efficiently0 -
I have a Nationwide Flex account, so I was ok to transfer.
My husband didn't have a 'card' account with Nationwide, our main joint current account being with another banking institution.
He didn't want to open another current account, so he opened a Cash Builder card account and deposited £10.00.
His Barclays to Nationwide Golden ISA transfers also took only 3 days.0
