more with less OR tightwad gazette???

I'm choosing my own christmas pressies:D But need help deciding. I was going to get a river cottage book too but thought one of these would be more useful. Has anyone got a favourite?

Thanks!

  • Tightwad gazette for me too.
Its one of those books that you can keep dipping into over and over again. Some of the tips are a little extreme, but there is plenty other inspiration in there, and it is a "big" book with plenty to read.

Wow! Tightwad gazette it is then.

I've just been on Amazon to buy Martins new book, a look at 'what other people have bought with this book' reveals alot of os'ers buying either The tightwad or more-with-less LOL!

Thanks for making my choice easier!

  • BOTH !! I read them together ;) But for money-saving tips TWG is best. If you want lots of cheap responsible recipes then MWL is fab. I honestly couldn't choose between them though.

    "Tightwad gazette!"

It is worth it just for the muffin recipe which can be sweet or savoury.

Was invaluable when DD (21) wanted to contribute to a birthday picnic for her best friend and was broke!

For about £2 in cash she made a dozen bacon, cheese and onion muffins - a dozen apple and cinnamon muffins and a huge chocalate cake.

It all looked really impressive and would have cost about £20 to go out and buy.
