new exhaust (diesel car) now getting white smoke

    No. Unburned diesel comes out as white smoke. If its black smoke, its overfuelling or the air filter is blocked.
  • everytime ive seen a dpf do a burn of unspent fuel its been a sooty looking colour. sometimes new back boxes will get condestation build up in them if the person doesnt do long trips and smoke a bit untill its been spent.
