I did part 1 & 2 of this challenge and it made a huge difference so I'm back for more...
I've got 2 overdrafts I'd like to clear that total £478.
I'm currently on a push to pay down my high rate cc first as per my snowball (gonna be nearly another 2 years on that one!), therefore my aim is to pay this off purely from Ebaying and savings from my weekly grocery budget. I am going to use up storecupboard/freezer stashes, meal plan and stick to my shopping list (unless I come accross some good whoopsies!).

Hi can I join? I'd like to pay off my Next account so I can reduce the limit right down - I love clothes from here so end up buying 'just a few bits' which end up being unworn and I'm too late to return! :eek:My current balance is £1003 so just over £10 a day in 100 days - can someone cleverer than me remind me when my 100 days finishes since I'm such a slow joe? lol:rotfl:This balance will be a bit higher as interest is still to be added but this gives me a starting point
I'm going to do this by paying at least a fiver a day as a kinda 'PAD' plus ebaying for the rest, and I've got a shift as an enumerator which will help, and doing a car boot sale a week tomorrow. Some of this debt includes about £100 my man spent on clothes for himself so he's going to give me some cash as and when he has it to put towards it. I've already got a tenner off him so far but won't add it here until I've actually transferred it over. I also have a couple of sealed tins for debt which, when opened, wil go straight to Naughty Next (or another debt if they're not full in time)
HOWEVER - I have a system of dividing up my extra money so I don't end up putting money on the credit cards and means I try to stay in budget - every time I get extra money I pay 1/4 to my Next account, 1/4 toward Fun (ie clubbing, dinner with my man, etc), 1/4 towards our first holiday which will hopefully be in January, and 1/4 for clothes and looks which also encompasses getting my hair done and toiletries (if needed). Therefore the enumerator and car boot money wil be divided up accordingly. I already have loads of stuff on ebay and scheduled to start every week but still have loads to get rid of so this should give me a kick up the bottom :money:
I'm going to keep track of this on my iphone as if it works for my diet it can work for this- can anyone recommend a suitable app to help me do this? (pref free hehe)
Sorry for the long post but one silly question - would it be ok if I include my minimum payments as technically they're still paying off the debt?
