  • Payday today so making payments for the month. I have set myself a stiff target of surviving on £110 next month (£135 inc prescription etc), so this has allowed me to make a payment of £850 (£400 to Barclayloan and £450 to Barclaycard). Takes me to a grand total of £1,350/£3,000

Luckily I have 3 more paydays to go so should be able to make the target.

    Thanks Amara.

Hi all, well done to everyone so far... I'm really glad I've started doing this again. I managed to pay off an 11.5k loan in a year, then I started spending like an idiot again, but now I have some focus I've only spent £2.35 since Monday :).

    I've paid off another £100 today, so I'm at £215 paid / £2043.52 remaining
    Finally bought a home
    Starting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,984.78/CENTER]
    Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,341.43

Paid my first £50 today, and have another £20 of £2 coins to pay in as well, so that's £70/£1000 already!
Thank you Amara for running this, I can't believe how motivated I am to shift this debt!
