If your complaint was that you were sold an investment that was incorrect for risk profile then you have a valid complaint. If your complaint is that the investment has failed and lost money then you do not have a valid complaint.

I'm surprised you haven't complained yet, some 2 years after the failure.
It seems that solution lies ultimately in the hands of FSCS, but a handful of people are complaining to the Financial Ombudsman.
