Every time I click the "new posts" button on this site it tells me I have to wait 15 seconds between searches. It happens the first time I click when I log in, it happens when I've done nothing for 30 minutes. Does this happen to others or does the fault lie somewhere in my settings?

Dont mean to offend but do you think maybe you are hitting the button twice without realising it.

It happens to me sometimes but not all the time.

Thanks, but yes I'm sure that's not the problem. I've disabled tapping on the touchpad to make sure. Must be something in my laptop I guess.

Thanks for that, I tried IE - no problems. Guess I'd better re-install Firefox and see if that helps.
I recently went back from FF4 to FF3.6 because Rapport would not function with FF4. I had tried to download the latest Rapport but that wouldn't download to XP 32 bit. Perhaps I'll dump rapport.
Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

sometimes add-ons in FF do cause problems of this kind/ so u could try disabling/removing/ personally, i use FF add-ons very sparingly/

Thanks, disabled them one by one and checked each time. None of them seemed to be at fault. Stopped for a meal and found the problem has disappeared afterwards. I enabled them all again one by one and the problem has not re-appeared.
It seems to be sorted, thanks again.
