Lloyds BT fee discounted to 1.5%

Until 30/6/11 LTSB are halving the 3% BT fee on their cards for transfers of £1,500 or more, meaning the Platinum card now offers 14 months 0% for a very low 1.5% fee.

You've got the expiry date wrong first of all plus the offer is for new credit card customers only.

Also 3% fee will be charged, with 1.5% returned on the 30th June

First off its not the 30th June expiry (i believe its the 20th, but certainly not the 30th)

From their website...

Apply for the credit card and transfer balances totalling £1,500 or more before 30 June 2011. We’ll charge our standard 3% fee for the balance transfer when you apply, and refund 50% of it within 30 days of your balance transfer going into your credit card account. Your refund will show on one of your next two statements as ‘50% balance transfer fee refund.

The 30th seems like the expiry date for completing the BT by to me. Why is your understanding different?

That's not what it says on their website (reproduced above). It's entirely possible that the refund could be made before then, depending on how quick the application and BT are processed and the statement date generated.
