Free 0844 diversion to mobile phones

We already know the cost of calling mobiles will be falling rapidly over the coming years, and inclusive packages from landlines are on the horizon.
In the meantime, the new 0844 divert-to-a-mobile from flextel (launched this week) allows an 0844 number to be redirected to a mobile number for free. Depending on your landline tariff, the 0844 call could be 5p per minute (plus any applicable connection fee). This will not be cheaper from all tariffs but may be worthwhile for some users.

They also now offer 01/02 geographic number routing to a mobile for only 4p per minute - not bad either as these calls will often be included in inclusive packages.
