Halifax statement date?

The old Halifax online banking said my statement date was the 20th April, which is one month after they received my signed form. I'm now on the new online banking.
This date has gone and passed but the transactions are still showing as Recent Transactions and there are no statements showing.
Does anyone know how Halifax choose the date of the first statement? I'm very interested in knowing so I can plan my £300 spending!!

When my husband and I opened a joint Halifax Rewards acct early last month, the first statement cut off date was set as 28th Mar. So I expect that to be the cycle month to month (28th - 27th ish)
I think i recall the recent transactions still showing despite being past the statement due date.0 -

In my experience it varies slightly (presumably due to non-banking days and varying month length). My last three credit card statement dates have been on the 15th, 16th and 15th, though they have been as early as the 13th and as late as the 18th from memory. If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0 -

The best way to get a definitive answer for your Halifax account is to call Halifax and ask them.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
The statement isn't made up instantly on the statement date, mine usually shows up a couple of days after. If it said 20th April before then it probably will be made up on this date, but I'd expect your might take a few extra days to show due to the bank holidays this month!0
