Flymo Mini Strimmer Cutting Lines

I've just been to B&Q and bought a pack of 10 plastic strimmer lines for £4.98. Looking at them, I can't think of any reason they cost this much other than sheer profiteering. I kept the receipt so I can take them back, and came home to check eBay.

I really expected to find people selling packs of 100 for a fiver, maybe from Hong Kong, but no, the cheapest I can find is still about £4 inc postage.

Anyone have any ideas? Would it be more cost effective to buy a new strimmer using a reel instead of these?

cheers
