I've an old 320GB drive dont use it for anything so rather than a NAS enclosure opted for the slower NAS dongle from here (aware of the speed so its not an issue)

having a total nightmare trying to set it all up...can access the dongles web interface etc just cant seem to do anything else with it..the IP address is fine, shows in network places w7 but when I attempt to access the AERO-LITE (dongle) its always bringing up a windows network password needed...dont get any further than this despite a few passwords..According to the blurb its Samba FTB & BT approved.
anyone help in simple english??

You need to enable a password on your Windows account, and then you use that password to access the NAS.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

Have you set an account up on the NAS box that matches your Windows user credentials, and have you applied the registry fix that the blurb on the sales page tells you about?Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

You need to do a registry fix for it to work properly. OP, follow your link to the product and you will see this in the first review.Never Knowingly Understood.

It doesn't sound like you have managed to access the NAS at all yet - have you tried the default admin/admin logon.0
