Response times to offer of settlement`

For the past couple of years I have been dealing with First Plus who I had a joint secured loan with. My husband and I split and he has gone bankrupt leaqving it all in my lap. After working out it will take me 164 years to pay it all !!! I made an offer of settlement to them 11 weeks ago. 6 letters to them later as no response I finally received a request for and income and expen to be completed. The letter claimed they would response re my offer within 7 days. I responded by return, sent in recorded and have proof of delivery. 5 weeks letter still no response from them!!!
Have they broken any laws?
What can I do about it?
Any advice would be really appreciated
Thanks

no their is no legal requirement, its not a complaint its an offer. Even a complaint has 8 weeks
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Are we talking about a an offer to settle the whole account here, or just an offer to set up monthly payments?

Is the loan still secured or has their been a repossession on the property in question?

Are you still in that property?
