Groupon offer

I had the same problem with a canal cruise and 3 course meal with a company called the white nancy. They said you had a full menu choice when they changed their mind after the deal had closed. The food was ok but gave all 4 of us a bad stomach the next day. I did complain and got a refund for 2 of us they then advertised the deal a few months later.
Since then I had become a member of their facebook page when I bought the deal and I seen them abusing a customer of groupon on their own facebook page using such words that rhyme with punt but change the p to a c and you've got it. I reported this to Groupon but I dont know if they've done anything about it.
As for hair deals I've had quite a few never had a problem yet really apart from one dying the back of my white tshirt purple and they did nothing about it. All the others have been fantastic. If you've dyed your hair before you don't need a patch test.

Im pretty sure most of the hairdressers do insist on a patch test as you can become allergic to a colour even after using it loads of times. There have been some horrific stories in some magazines and papers recently.I would be prepared to take the chance but the salons wont in case they get sued!I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0

...for all your replies, a real mix of good and bad. I guess the thing is to try and research before buying (if you can) and be prepared to win on some deals and lose on others
- at least my outlay was minimal.
