Light Switch Wiring help

Hello. In a bedroom we have one light and two switches which worked fine. We've just replastered the whole room and replaced the plug sockets and switches with new ones.

The light switches work, but independently, If I turn the light on and off with one switch it comes on and off, if I turn it on and off with the pull cord it comes on and off.

If the light is turned on by the light switch then turned off by the pull cord, I have to turn it back on my the pull cord as pressing the switch does nothing.

I am thinking it's just one of the wires in the wrong position in one of them any ideas?

Thanks
