Can I replant my strawberries?

My h thought he was being v helpful a couple of weekends ago by planting my strawberries but put them in small plastic troughs which were meant for my herbs!!

They look very squashed as there's 3 plants in each trough.

Will I kill them if I take them out and repot them?

Also do I need to do anything with strawberries or just water them?

I've done it before. Replant with plant feed or manure and water as normal. I think I lost a couple but the rest were fine. They won't do well staying as they are

I split up about 5 plants that where pot bound, I split them up and found they are growing better for it.

When you finally plant them in a better container remember to plant the runners when they appear. They need to remain attached to the mother plant until they are rooted in a separate pot/container after which you can cut the tendril. I've noticed this year that I have quite a few young ones so I must have done it right last year. I just love strawberries.

They're more likely to suffer if you don't move them so yes, do it asap.

I love strawberries too. When the the runners look reasonably viable I just cut them off with scissors and plant them.
