Good Hotel near Westminster on June 18th

Hi all,
A friend has organised a boat trip for her birthday at Westminster Pier on June the 18th which starts at 8pm and finishes just after midnight.
Can't get off the boat until it returns.
As far as I can tell, it would be risky getting anything other than a Zone 1 hotel as the last tubes may have finished by that time.
Any suggestions on good hotels around the area?
Thanks

The park plazas around there are pretty nice, especially the new park plaza Westminster bridge0

On the south side of Westminster bridge, which is probably a 10 minute walk from the pier you have the Park Plaza as mentioned, there is also a Marriot and a Premier inn, a bit further on there is a Tune hotel and a Days inn down by the Imperial war museum.
Days inn is the only one of these that has parking, otherwise there are car parks near the Plaza about £20 a day. if you want to street park you have to be aware of the restrictions almost every street has different restrictions and DON'T park on the main roads, the wardens are savage, I see them every morning being followed down the road by the tow trucks.
If you're using public transport then whilst the tube may be finished when you come back there are plenty of busses.0 -
Thanks all. We usually drive to a Zone 4 station and park there and then tube it in. Not sure if a bus in the early hours of the morning will be fast or directly available from Westminster Pier.
I'll look into the hotels. Thanks.0 -

You would walk a hundred yards or so towards the bridge, on the right directly opposite the houses of parliament are the bus stops. For the Marriot, Premier inn and Plaza I'd walk over the bridge as it's only one stop. For the Tune it's 2 stops and the Days in it's 3.
No 59 serves all 3 stops and any bus going over the bridge serves the first 2. The Tune is directly opposite Lambeth North tube (bakerloo line).0 -
Decided on the Mint Hotel Westminster. Going to park in Zone 4 like we usually do and come in by tube. However, going to try and pay for 2 days. It's a pay and display which used to only allow for 24hrs. However, as I need to drop off the luggage once we've checked out on Sunday, I can buy a second ticket for that day then!0
