They'll have artifically inflated the prices before the sale like they did with the VAT increase :)

    Hi,

    Thanks for your input.
With respect, what the Company does before, during and after sales and how they conduct themselves, has absolutely nothing to do with me.
Although your comments are appreciated and noted, if you wish to make allegations of fraud or price fixing, then I suggest you take it up with the company, as this is not the appropriate place.

    Thank you for your co-operation.

I've used Mattress Man and they were superb; unlike Dreams!!

Their prices are competitive, they delivered the correct items at the correct time, and the delivery did not cost me £35.00 like most other companies charge.

    I would totally recommend them.

Its not an allegation, it's a fact with no negative or positive opinion on my part :)

It is worth looking at their slight seconds as they are very good prices, one such matteress for sale recently less than half the price because someone in the warehouse ripped off the label and scuffed a corner.

    Hi,

Thank you for your secondary input.
I have no intentions of feuding with you however; your 1st listing comments speak for themselves, i.e. You alleged this company has artificially inflated prices,as they have done on a previous occasion.
That's a clear definition of an allegation therefore; my comments returned to you were in reply to that, accurate and justified.

Only on some discounts I list, do I actually purchase something myself, this not being one of them, as I need no new beds at the moment.
I did see the slight seconds you refer to but, didn't want to mention them, as some people can be really funny about buying/using 2nd hand beds.

Nevertheless, thank you for your input comments and all the best:)

All companies start their prices high, just to be able to have a SALE.

The customer NEEDS a reason to buy and the internet ends up a bum fight over price!

99% of sales are marketing, what company can sell something that is a geniune 50%+ off and still make a profit? I tell thee, NONE, it just marketing. Been going on for years and will continue and get worse!

Look at DFS, SCS, Dreams etc... Always always have a sale on.

A bit overly defensive for someone who has no personal interest in the company. IMHO.

Noone said anything about fraud did they?

Advertisting a higher price for 30 days and then lowering it is not fraud as far as I know, even if that was the plan all along. Unethical maybe, but it's not fraud! Like I said eariler, it's marketing.

I bought it because it was in the SALE, how many times do we hear this line being said?

To all above negative confrontational and argumentative comments by reply, I'm not even going to bother to waste my precious time responding to people that clearly have nothing constructive to say other than petty comments that are of no interest or concern to me whatsoever!!
