my thanks count sky rocketing

i dont know whether there should be concern about this or not but i thought i would mention that over the past week(maybe even less than that) my thanks count has increased massively despite me not really having made that many posts and not noticing any of those posts recieving that many thanks. to clarify my thanks count has risen by at least 150 over the last few days, possibly even by more than 200. now this maybe possible for people who post alot especially those who post alot of helpful advice. however that does not apply to me.
basically unless someone has been thanking old posts by me there is something odd going on.
