Hi all
I have a long noticable scratch in my hallway oak flooring caused by a box being pushed along it..
any ideas how to get it out? I've tried using wood floor cleaner but it hasn't worked
cheers

Using the water method often works if there is a dent in the wood . If the wood fibres have been severed this will not usually restore the damaged area.
I have tried wax sticks and have not been impressed with the results ,although they are inexpensive and the wax can be removed if you are not happy.
As it's not a deep scratch I would use sandpaper to be rid of it.Forgotten but not gone.0
