We had new central heating installed last week and had a condensing combi boiler fitted in the loft...last couple of nights I have had to go in the loft and noticed the interior linings all wet-I guess condensation caused my boiler installed in loft?? just wondering if this is ok-has anybody else had the same problem with boilers in the attic?? just worried about water dripping down where there is electrics around!! I noticed our installer had blocked up the airbrick with loft insulation so I removed it last night but has made no difference.....any ideas?? thanks cliff

you could try reading appendix C of this pdf document to see if this applys to your installation. http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/br/BR_PDF_PTL_CONDBOILER.pdf you could also contact your local council for advice, under its building controls inspector.

Hi
Your loft should not have any condensation! It will rot!
Check where the boiler flue leaves the roof and see if it is connected properly.
Do you have any uninsulated pipes from the boiler?
Just out of interest where does the condensate run to?
Have you had any other work done? A bathroom perhaps.
