Lowell Chasing me for Lloyds TSB card

Hi All.
I am receiving letters from the Lowell group saying I have to pay my entire balance of £550 from my only credit card with a £700 limit.

This smells fishy to me, I have paid £20 a month off every month since I had the card, and have never missed a payment. I have no late payments on my card statments or my credit report.

Should I just ignore them or phone them up and tell em to get stuffed. I fail to see why Im being threatened with legal action when I have kept up with payments and still have £150 left on the card.

Regards
Jez

Was the £20/month you've been paying equal to or more than the minimum payment quoted on your statements?

If it was, and if you've kept to the rest of the Ts&Cs quoted in your credit agreement I'd be a bit surprised, too to have the debt referred on.

I think its the minimum. Otherwise I would have been having late payments appear from Lloyds would I not? Also Lloyds did not contact me at all, just started getting letters from Lowell. I shall give them a ring and update.

Ignore Lowell for now and call LTSB ASAP to find out why it has been passed on.

"I think"? Don't your statements make it obvious?
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
