Hi All,

Ok, I have been accepted for contract hire subject to showing documents - now they want 3 months bank statements showing wages going in, driving licence obviously and some form of utility bill.

It is the utility bill I am having an issue with - I am renting and it includes all bills (council tax, electric, gas, water, broadband and phone line) - can anyone advise what else I could use? I only have insurance policies in my name - no credit cards, though I have the annual loan statement.

Thanks in advance, Simon

    Your rent statement.
  • I live with my parents (and all bills in their name) so when the estate agent (when I was applying to rent a property) needed a utility bill they accepted a mobile phone statement/bill which as I check online I could download and that was acceptable.
