MS Awareness Week 2011

23rd – 27th May

MSRC have many things planned for this years MS Awareness week. We want to encourage YOU to join in!

As World MS Day falls right in the middle of Awareness Week we want as many people to join in our Green Day as possible. We are planning on a Green themed day whereby we encourage you to do something that involves the colour or the word Green….a Green dress down day at work or at your child’s school, invite your friends round for a Green Tea Party, Thai Green curry night, the list is endless! We hope to raise much needed Awareness of MS and hopefully raise some funds along the way.

We have special chat room sessions planned throughout the week including a ‘virtual World MS Day coffee morning’hosted by our very own Patron, Alastair Hignell CBE.

Benefits Advice
We are accepting questions between now and the 6th May from those who have concerns over the Benefit changes. Our Welfare Rights and Benefits Specialist, Emma Rowe will provide the answers.

We will collate these questions together and publish them along with Emma’s answers throughout MS Awareness Week. (We will not publish names or any personal information)

MSRC Green Day

If you would like to join in our Green Day then please email Laura, [EMAIL="laura@msrc.co.uk"]laura@msrc.co.uk[/EMAIL] for a fundraising pack full of ideas of how to ‘Go Green’.

This includes some posters, an ideas leaflet, collection box, some balloons and some MS information leaflets.
