Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0

I received my order from them last week, and I am discusted with the 3 items I bought, they are tatty, and boxes cellotaped were torn using brown parcel tape I know all the items I got was in the sale. I would be more acceptable to them if only one box damaged but all 3? they look as though I have picked them up at a car boot sale. I have phoned and put in writing my complaint and I have been sent a return address envelope which I am not happy about. Why should I have to repack them get on a bus to my nearest PO to return them when it is there fault. I have stated this to them asking why I cannot just return them to the delevery person when they resend my order but oh no they need them back before they can re issue another lot out to me grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
My first and last dealings with them.0 -

bartman - Owner is a Christian, hardly "extreme religion" good on him for not bowing to commercial pressure to open on a Sunday.
Calm-Seas - think you should change your username under the trade descriptions act
Shop often at the Entertainer, there are so few small toy shops left and Toys R Us makes me loopy. Staff always helpful, good range and always a few bargains.0 -
Made my first order last Sunday - 4 board games, all reduced. All arrived on Tuesday, brand new. Impressed so far, but I'll be interested to see how their Customer Services deal with Calm Seas tatty goods - totally out of order to send damaged/shop soiled goods without describing them as such on the web site. Also, postage is quite expensive.0

Just to confirm they do have shops - one in Camberley. Used them for years, but they do not always have the same offers in store as on the web. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

My mum ordered the Magnetix for a Xmas present and the box was quite tatty. It was a good deal moneywise and she seems happy with it, so I suspose that's all that matters. To be honest I wasn't impressed, the tatty box made it look secondhand.:mad:Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0

I bought the Toru game from the Entertainer shop a few months ago - was on sale then for £5.
It's basically like spoons if anyone's ever played that, but with a few more rules. Good fun, definitely worth £30
