has anyone experienced like this before....

i had put an add in the autotrader for a sale of my car. i have got 2 response over email and both of them want the car badly and both of them are gonna get expoted. 1 to switzerland and the other 2 france. don't know is this co incidence?

There was a similar thread recently,guy sold his car to a bloke who wanted it to sell in ireland,values are higher there,so he said.Anyway he sold it and was quite happy,could be this is the same sort of thing.

There have been many stories of cars being exported in similar circumstances where the seller receives an apparently 'kosher' bankers draft and releases the vehicle. The draft is then rejected by the bank as fraudulent.

Only release the vehicle on receipt of cleared funds, however tempting the offer.

Don’t see a problem, I once sold a lada to some trawler men who used to tie them to the deck and take them back to Russia. They collected it from South Wales and took it to Grimsby.

BUT, there are some evil !!!!!!s out there and I would never part with a car without cold hard cash in hand, not bankers drafts, not cheques, not anything but cold hard cash
