Shill bidding at its best...

I sent the seller a message asking if they were aware that shill bidding is against ebay policy and also illegal.
Their reply:

I've also reported them, but I doubt if ebay will do anything in case they lose their fees.

I reported them as well but most of the time when the shill bidder keeps winnign their own goods I tend to leave them to get on with it as they will run out of time or money eventually.

Looking at the seller's items, they have a number of completed auctions which were cancelled. Looks like someone's on a bit of a learning curve.

could it be any more bloody obvious!! This is however "shill bidding at its worst" . Makes my blood boil. I hope it backfires badly for them one way or another.

If you ask eBay, I'm sure they will tell you how absolutely committed they are to preventing any kind of shill bidding...

...so we must all be imagining that these activities represent anything other than genuine bids from genuine bidders. :rotfl:

Just found this- item number 130542459004 what on earth is going on there? TWO highest bidders have "100% activity with the seller", the seller can't be too "clever" is she keeps winning her auctions all the time.

Here's an interesting bidding pattern. A bidder that reliably counter-bids a particular seller's auction prices up, always after a new bid appears, be it for anything from Antiques to Amplifiers, Hair Straighteners to Saxophones or Vehicle Parts to Industrial Projectors...

Who would have guessed that such a diverse shopping list of items just happened to be available from the same seller, at the same time? How fortunate is that?
