It makes a lovely bbq sauce is you boil it with coca cola
One can and 5 tablespoons of ketchup - use it as a sauce with ribs, prawns, sausages or mixed veg. Yummy!0 -
here's my own BBQ sauce recipe and a spare rib marinade one. They've been tried and tested. You could add a litlle cayanne to the bbq sauce if you find its not hot enoughbbq sauce-

Just curious as to how you could buy 4.5 litres of ketchup by mistake?

I like long stories!0 -
Lol! Well its not that long actually just rather boring and stupid
I made an approved foods order, there was no photo or i would have realized. And i was very tired having been up with baby all night. I read, 4.5 litres of tomato sauce, as in, pasta sauce! At 1.49, that was (or wouldve been if it was indeed tomatoe pasta sauce!) cheaper than value chopped tomatoes that i usually buy to make tomato sauce. So i thought great! :T Then it arrived in the most giant tomato ketchup bottle i have ever seen, Doh! :rotfl:
Sauce ideas are brilliant! Thankyou all. I love BBQ sauce so may make a batch and freeze it in portions. Thankyou!
Anymore recipes, keep posting please! 0 -
That explains it perfectly. :rotfl:0
