What benefit payment is MP??

I have received £65 plus odd pennies in my account from DWP. All it show is DWP MP, I dont know what it is for. Does anyone know what MP stands for. I receive IB, CTC, and CSA payments for our GS, we were getting WTC until a couple of weeks ago but this has stopped until our renewal when we may or may not get it back, so have no idea what this extra payment is.

Your best bet would be to ring DWP to ask what that payment is for? the only thing I can think of is JSA? which is roughly about £65 a week.
Just to hazard a guess and I could be wrong, but I think the 'MP' letters is an abbreviation of the area/office of where the payment came from? :idea: You could also ask about this when you ring up. :question:
Just to add,MP could also be short for maternity payment.I asked for fork 'andles(handles for forks) not four candles! God Bless The Two Ronnies :T0 -
I phoned DWP and spoke to 4 different people in different departments no-one knew what the payment was for and did not know what MP was? They checked my claim/file and it doesnt even show that a payment has been paid. So I am non the wiser.0
