How do I increase my maximum bid?

I'm currently winning an auction, but I'd like to increase my maximum bid just to make sure.

Do I just bid again? Will it recognise that I am already the top bidder and therefore won't increase the current bid?

I'm sure I've noticed a link to increase your maximum bid before, but now that I need it I can't find it.

Would appreciate any advice.

Hi

Yes you just bid again, however it will show you as having bid twice, but the value displayed will remain the same, unless someone else bids. So yes it will recognise that you are the the top bidder. I hope that makes sense!

Unless your current winning bid is less than one bid increment above the underbidder, in which case your bid will be increased to one bid increment above the underbidder.
