Some great mortgage deals.

Good news for bears with tasty deposits.
& if those deposits had been moved out of Sterling as soon as it was known that it was the currency (& thus savers) that would be trashed to keep the housing ponzi scheme going rather than letting the loose credit driven pricing correct itself, then said deposit might well be capable of buying the whole house by now.
Though it would be even more apparent that buying now is far too early.0 -
I just observed that hsbc who had marketed their mortgage on how competitive the svr was actually reduced their svr by a lot less than other lenders and the reduction in the base rate whereas they had no difficulty in passing on the full reduction to their savers. For example their svr went from being about 50 basis points less than LTSB to 150 basis points more. I felt this cost me about 10k in extra interest during the period I was locked in to my hsbc deal. Can you say what your blocked signature referred to? Block out the bits that you think caused it to be blocked. You have been a site member for a long time so I am guessing you are pretty conservative in your comments.I think....0

If so, I would personally be pretty !!!!ed off about paying more, having repaid part of the mortgage, and in these times of record low interest rates...
I have a mortgage I am happy with.
I was just seeing how much the same mortgage would cost if taken out today.Been away for a while.0
