  • Took me 5 years to do something I promised myself I would do after my father in law needed a blood transfusion. Am on my third time this year (max I can do in one year apparantly) and I am so glad I do it. I have 0rhneg blood so am a universal donor - anyone can use my blood - but can only receive 0rhneg blood - It itsnt too bad and it does make you feel soooo good.

    :T
  • Our school took us to do it in our final year. They couldn't take mine though as I've yet to go a year without having surgery!! I don't see why they can't take it, I've not had any blood transfusions and I didn't loose all that much blood!! My Dad gives though :)

I used to go for the ritz cheesey biscuits. Strange, that they never tasted the same when you bought them for home use.

Argh, I'm due ato go again. Have been for a month but kept putting it off.

It's the thought that scares the willies out of me - once I'm there it's not so bad even though I hate needles with a passion.

Plus it's really worthwhile and for a good cause.
  • i will def go this yr as in the past i have always been under weight and they refuse to let u give blood if u are under 8 stone, so this yr i am over now so i can finally go yay :)
