Magic!! lol
I dont really know, but I downloaded it onto a cd, ran it thought I had made a huge mistake listening to a total stranger on a forum  as everything went purple but I stuck with it and followed a few instructions restarted and it allowed me to run my AV and now it seems be running ok.
I've ran malwarebytes and cant see anything dodgy but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for?
