I've just read up on a topic on here about basic bank accounts, And the topic poster said something about a 'Sterling Current Account' (A basic current account that citibank offer), I was interested in perhaps applying for this, however i can't find a basic account on there website, The only ones i do find you must earn over £20,000 a year etc etc.
Do they still offer a more basic account ? Or did they stop this a while ago ?
Thanks

Citibank have changed their UK banking, probably as a result of the banking industry problems a couple of years back. They now only have a couple of UK branches and are quite choosy about who they accept. They no longer offer a basic bank account.0
