    Hi,

99p store do pregnancy tests if you decide to do some more.

I agree with Emmzi, stress does all kind of things to your body.
It plays havock with your hormone levels.
Also when you had your last period, was it normal?

    Hope this helps!
  • My last period was lighter than usual, they are usually heavy !!!!!!s and it only lasted 4 days, usually they are 6 days or even a week long.

As for stress related lateness, I'd say my life has been pretty stressful for the past 3 or 4 years and I've never had any problem with being late before. I wasn't overly concerned about being late until this bloating feeling started

I completely understand that, as there are many people on here and in the World that live with stress everyday, including myself.
The problem I find is that when dealing with stress on an everyday level, most people get used to that stress or deal with it in their way.
Something at this level might be harder for you and your body to deal with.

    Ladies, am I making sense?

All I can recommend is doing another pregnancy test and/or going to see your Doctors to see what they can do for you.

Yeah I do definately agree with you. I'm pretty thick skinned so takes alot to get to me but you could be right. I'm going to go to the doctors as soon as I can, see what they think and if they rule out being pregnant I'll go for another STI screening to see if they missed anything out.

I suppose the only way I can look at it now is what will be, will be.

Thank you all for your help though, very comforting to know that there is this level of support on here to access :)

Is there a family planning clinic near you where you could go along and explain your situation to a 'stranger' as such? They may be able to offer some advice on all the side effects of the map and the way you are feeling at the moment.

I would buy another test if your period has not started by the weekend. Clearblue Digital tests are meant to be good, bit expensive so not very mse, but then this post is more about peace of mind hey.

Hope everything will be okay :)

The cheap £1 tests are just as good as the expensive ones - and they should certainly pick it up correctly if you're well over a month pregnant. If the tests are still showing up negative but you still feel ill then I'd get yourself to the docs ASAP and express your concern.

By the way your wee is at it's strongest first thing in the morning (your first wee) you'll get the highest level of the hormone the tests detect if the wee is extra concentrated.

actually its the 'unwanted, unprotected sex' part of your post which disturbs me! have you had counselling? reported it to the police? because unwanted, unprotected sex is rape. you havent mentioned this except in passing as a possible cause of pregnancy. you say that three pregnancy tests are negative. You may well be sexually active hun, but if you were raped and its causing this much stress - then please get help. If you dont want to involve the police then phone the Samaritans.

It could also though be that the guy took the condom off part way through without her noticing. Some guys just don't like them and are happy to be a sneaky !!!!! about it.

    Quite right Meritaten, totally agree.
I did notice that in OP but I didn't want to say anything in case I personally misinterpreted it.
