Scottish Power to stay or not to stay?

I have been a scottish Power customer for a year and I am about to switch to EDF tomorrow. SP called me today and said they will beat EDF. I was on OES 9 and they were trying to switch me to OES 9 (April 2012) how they get away with calling it the same name when it will cost me an extra £15 a month I will never know!
SP have said stay with us and we will fix your costs for two years instead of the 1 year EDF were offering.
Does anyone know what I should be asking for as a tariff? my usage is fairly low (£35 a month) for gas and elec.
I have been told new customers are being offered OES 13, is that the best option?
PS why isn't there an energy company that rewards its members for staying with them instead of ripping them off? They would corner the market?

Hi redrover - Your £35 a month D/Debit to Scot Power for both Gas & Elec?, is amazingly low. If you have not done so already, check your bills to see that the £420 a year you are paying them really does cover your annual cost - If you don't have a years bills to hand, phone SP and ask them how many Kwh of gas & Elec you used last year.
When you have these figures, use a Switch site to get true comparisions against the offers from EDF & SP, and if your annual cost really is only £420 have a look at Ebico's web site0 -
(£420 is likely (depeding on mix) to be far too high a consumption for Ebico to be the cheapest. But they are worth looking at if price is not your primary criterion.)0
