Hiya
I believe it can work out more expensive.
It may be cheaper to request a SAR, they have 40 calendar days to comply and send all data they hold on your account(s).
This is for an enclosed payment of £10 cheque or postal order.
SAR letter template below - you can tweak to your requirements if you want to.
If you bank with Lloyds, then apply your account number, they should enclose everything you have taken out with them.

However, if you do online bankin with them, I believe this may allow you to check statements going back about 7 plus years.
That may be worth thinking about. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks Di!!
let's see where we go with that one then!
i take it i send it to the Lloyds PPI custome rCare rather than Card Services?0 -
I have requested the SAR and had all the information back, but it doesn't seem to contain all the information.
they have sent the original application form for the CC back in 2005 but the details of the acitivity on the card only goes back to 2009, i think the card changed to a Visa Platinum would it be that they are onyl sending me through the recent activity?
i don't know what to do next??0 -

Hi Andy
So sorry for missing this one earlier.
I would contact them and question them on this, tell them under the Data Protection Act (DPA) they should comply and send all data they hold on your account and you've only received details going back to 2009, question them on the ones missing.
However, with mine via Lloyds they were sent in 2 batches at 2 different times, but I would give them a ring and make sure on this.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I have just telephoned the Data Subject Access Request department and spoke to a very lovely lady there, i explained that i was ringing on behalf of my wife and i didn't understand why all the information wasn't there.
She then obviously said she couldn't talk specifically about my wifes accounts to me but if it is to do with reclaiming PPI's then I just need to write to the General Insurance departemt and they will calculate the amount for us, it is only if we disagree or they challenge our claim that we need to collate all the numbers ourselves.
just for info anyway0 -

Hi Andy
Thanks for your update.
Even though within my SAR I had data as from the late 1990's, I am too currently dealing with yet another older 2 from the mid 90's, and I emailed them for the account numbers from these dates, one ended in 1997 and the other 1999, they forwarded them by email to me by just me giving all my details, also old addresses etc, and the bank account number.
So if you need to locate any account numbers you could try emailing them as well if you want to.

For a far quicker response, I always copy my emails to the CEO to make sure they get answered to, as he will forward them to the customer care team as well - despite already emailing them.

Also when you make a reclaim, they will do all the calculations and send you a breakdown.
To make a reclaim there are also details directly on Lloyds website with the address where you send etc, its a reclaim questionnaire, and the same questionnaire and reclaim process as on this site.

Hope this info helps, but please feel free to post and ask for help anytime, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
