    Clocked!

    Damage repaired!

    And last serviced in 2007!

How many red flags do you want it to wave at you.

Ever heard of the phrase throwing good money after bad?

I worked in the trade back in the ninties and used to have young un's coming in every week with fairly new cars with no end of problems that had been bought purely because they were fairly new and they thought it was good for the image to have a newish car, but couldn't afford a decent one.

This car may prove to buck this trend, but somehow I doubt it.

If it is mega cheap, and I mean a lot less than half the cost of a reasonable similar car then it may be worth a punt, but in all honesty I can only see this ending in tears.

Might well be a red flag or 3 but all the op asked was whether it was legal or not?? He has that info and it's now his choice no matter how you (and I) feel;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

    Hi, Guys.

You're right. I've found a different car, a bit more expensive, but it's completely clean. Mileage checks from new are all good, it's never been written off, only 4 owners (as opposed to 11 on the other car).

It seems it's worth paying a bit more, this car has no red flags to report...

    Thanks all.

"I call trolling" No, I wasn't trolling, I was asking if it's legal, because I was considering buying it.

Persoonally I wouldn't bother as I don't want the hassle of selling it later.

Wouldn't bother with what? The original car isn't being bought by me now. I've found a better car, is that what your comment is relating to?

I was relating to the original, didn't read on that you were getting a new one.

I am glad you made this choice as I have seen many people make the choice based on a small saving, which was then to be wiped out many times over by the problems they encountered.

Good luck with your new car.

Some may say my advice was a bit over the top, but I will do anything in my power to stop relatively new drivers without trade knowledge form making an expensive mistake.

I make no apology for it.
