Free Glasto ticket and Get Paid!

Is this for general jobs around the site? I'm still gutted about spending hours unsuccessfuly trying to get tickets this year, however after watching the poor lovies having to clean the loos at last years glasto, I think I'll just wait till 2013!

It's not for the toilets! But you could end up on car-park duty, on road duty, sitting by a gate or potentially (I think DCSS are one of the company's responsible for this) standing up a fire tower, which I can tell you from previous experience is not fun!

Though one of the good things about Glasto is there's a maximum shift length of 8 hours. At others you can end up with 12 hour shifts.

Also, if you're looking perhaps at working other festivals, you could consider:

– Green Stewards (last year it was £6.50 pay, and could get away with just 18 hours work, or if you wanted could do 36 hours, so loads of flexibility)
– Oxfam Stewarding (unpaid though)
– Hotbox Events (unpaid again, only Festival Republic festivals like Reading and Leeds)
– Festival Samaritans (think it's full this year though)
– Actionaid UK (full again)
– Oasis Carnival (full as well)

Hope that's a few to help anyone whose looking to spread their bets!

Also, probably worth noting but all those above ask for a deposit of around £200.00, so probably not a good idea to apply for all of them!

I've just found out there are also positions available for other festivals with Big Choice, including:

Isle of Wight festival – 300 jobs!
V Festival – 60 jobs
Radio 1's Big Weekend – 30 jobs

I think all these have a later deadline as well so should be easier to apply for.

My son does this, last year he bought home lots of bottles of perfume/aftershave (No glass bottles allowed) some were unopened same with unopened bottles of spirits
