Hello guys
Me and husband are flying with British Airways tomorrow from Heathrow to Los Angeles in Boeing 747-400 70-Bus.
Going to reserve seats in hour, can you please advise best economy seats?
Found the plane at SeatGuru:

Are seats in row 51 &52 B and C any good? Are there any drawbacks?
Please advise.

On Row 51 the IFE screens may be misaligned. Both are pretty close to the toilets. Otherwise, they are fine.Gone ... or have I?0

The other drawbacks are you'll get served food/drink later than other rows, it is a little noisier, and if there is turbulence you'll feel it more.
BUT if the flight isn't full the empty seats are often down the back so you may have room to spread out, but it is Easter so I'm guessing it may be full.
Have you logged in to see if these twin seats haven't already been sold?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

You can log-in and see which seats have gone already in the pre-sale.
What about in the middle say 46 D & E?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

I would never pick a middle 4 section unless I was travelling in a group of 4.
I think MMB does block the seat maps for a period before check in (can't recall how long).Gone ... or have I?0 -
Pre-sale may have now closed because of the need to allocate seats to families before the general seat selection, worth having a look for your return LAX-LHR journey though.
Excluding the rear twin seats, if you like a nap and do not want to be disturbed, the best seats for this are A, E, F & K, best aisle seats are D and G because you only disturbed by one other person.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

That is why we like the row 51 &52 as there are only 2 seats there..But do you think there will be limited space for person sitting by the wall?Best wins ever:

If the twin seats have gone D & E are ok IMHO.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

If you get 52A you can stretch out a bit more with your left leg in that space to the front and left, the person in 51A doesn't generally notice this.
I got 52A on Qantas returning from BKK-LHR and there was no-one next to me, was bliss.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
