in Credit cards
Hi there Money Saving Experts,
I am a final year University student and I'm in a very lucky position that I don't have a student loan, and no debt once graduating University.
However, this also means I don't have a credit card / loan, or a good credit score also i presume? I was wondering if you could help me out with some advice on whether or not to get a credit card, and if so where from with regards to reliability, good deal, customer service perhaps? I don't really know how it works at all i'm afraid, a bit of a n00b. :-/
I am looking to rent a house with a few friends after graduation, and I presume it'll be better to have a good credit rating? I don't understand it i'm afraid, sorry..
If it helps at all I have a student current account with an overdraft (though i've never needed to use it) of £1000, and a savings account, and an ISA all with Santander. I've never been with anyone else, it all sounds a little daunting if i'm honest.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Regards, Molkit. x
