Hi,
I checked my Equifax credit report and i paid off a CCJ in full about 3 years ago and it is still on my credit report and not showing as "Settled" I called up the debt collection company asking for proof that the debt has been paid, they sent me a certificate (which i had to pay for £15 for). Do i send that to the the court to get it removed or to the CRA's?
Thanks

i think you need to send it to the credit agency (credit expert or equifax) they will then amend your credit file to satified but your ccj wont be removed untill the 6 year period has expired from date of issue0

You need to wait the full six years fella or pray to God, both have the same chance."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

It's the registry trust that have to inform the credit reference agencies.
You can forward the data to the registry trust asking them to update experian, equifax, and call credit with the correct data.
It may help to raise a notice of dispute against the CCJ with experian, equifax, and call credit, after you've written to the registry trust - as often times the registry trust update their records but don't bother to inform the CRAs.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
