do housing associations buy houses?

in House buying, renting & selling
i have a house which i would like to sell on.it is a back to back terrace currently let out to students.

i am wondering if housing assciations buy houses off the public for their own tenants.

any thoughts welcome

    yes they do buy homes provided its cheap enough. some even do a good scheme where they modernise your house as long as you agree to a 5year rental period with their tenants.
    Contact your local housing association and see what schemes they have on offer its all down to budget and area policy.

    You can ask the Local Authority for details of all the housing associations that operate in your area as there is likely to be more than one.
