paypal mis refunding my buyers

i have recently had a dvd refunded by paypal to an american because they said it was not compatable with there dvd player.

my auctions state clearly that they will only work on region 2 dvd players and even state that that covers uk/europe. i also state to check the region of your player as you will not be refunded for region mis match

paypal refused not to refund this payment even though the buyer did not read the auction and while speaking to paypal they even checked the description but still refunded the item

does anyone know how they can do this because as far as i can see i have not broken any rules.

any advice on how to deal with this would be great

American companies will support American consumers against foreigners, whatever the circumstances.

haha excellent reply. its just very frustration when i have over 1500 sales through paypal and what do they credit you with. nothing. i didnt even get a chance of getting the dvd back !
