    It will always be rather easy not to be scammed though, if selling only do cash on collection, if buying give cash on collection.

    This is pretty bad advice. I bought fake tickets and paid cash, only to find out they were fake when attempting to enter the venue. I obviously had no comeback at all. If your planning on buying anything, I'd suggest paypal or bank transfer and nothing else.

    And not buy anthing which is easily counterfeited like a gig ticket.

    And how exactly would paying by BT or Paypal help you ? You have no better comeback. I'd suggest you never buy tickets from touts, unless you can verifiy there authenticity.

    Anyway, you do have some comeback, you went to there house so know there address, and presumably you got a receipt? So go over to there house and demand your money back, if not go to the courts.
