Help needed with Hoover WDM120

First, I hope I am in the right place as this forum is unfamiliar territory for me. (I saw it mentioned DIY in the forum heading.)

My Hoover WDM120 washer dryer has started gradually taking in water when it is not even on. I've had a scout around the web and think it is likely to be the inlet valve(s) which need replacing. www.espares.co.uk usefully has a video of how to do it but on a Bosch machine which very sensibly has screwss fixing the top panel to the rest of the machine..

However, I am stumped before I even start with the Hoover as I don't know how to get the top panel off. The actual panel is bordered on each side by a plastic border. The back one looks like it is riveted (?) to the machine - certainly not screws as there are no slots or crosspanels on them. I think the panel will just slide back if I can get the plastic border off at the back.

Anyone know how to do this? Is it a case of needing a special "dedicated" tool?
