How can I get a Trampoline collected?

Hi
I've seen a really good trampoline for my kids on ebay, problem is that it's pickup only and 100 miles away, lol! I need a rectangular/oval shaped one for a narrow garden and these are few and hard to find secondhand.
The seller has dismantled it, but they won't pack it for a parcel, they say it's too heavy & difficult.
I don't have a car or anyone that can fetch it for me.
Is there anyway around this? Or have I just got to let this excellent bargain go by
Any suggestions very welcome.

You'll have to let it go if the seller doesn't want to put it in a box and courier it to you.
What would the train or bus cost? Would you be willing to carry it on train or bus?:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

You might find a man with a van locally willing to go and get it for you, but with their charge for time and petrol I doubt it would be worth it!0

It would definitely be worth paying for. The price is much less than what I would pay new, and it's in really good connection. I couldn't carry as its the whole kaboodle, including enclosure etc. I guess about 60kg or so.0

Can you drive - would it be worth hiring a van or a large car. Where I live you can join a car club and then borrow a car for a day for a small fee per day - its designed to discourage car ownership by allowing people to have access to a car for the odd occasions when they really need one like collecting bulky goods or heading out to places not covered by public transport.Adventure before Dementia!0

I saw in Asda they had a very large trampoline & enclosure for £90. I can't see a man & van packing it up and moving it 100 miles for any less?I love surprises!0

I've got a brother with a van who'd probably do a 100 mile radius of Chelmsford for £100 for you....
There you go, we've covered half the country.

The obvious solution is a man and a van. But, as has already been said, the cost is likely to make the purchase of a new from somewhere local, a cheaper proposition.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
